Founder and CEO
Navroze is Founder and CEO of KleenGel LLC, a manufacturer of an FDA Cleared automatic, infrared device designed to efficiently and hygienically dispense lubricating gel for use by healthcare providers. He is also Founder and CEO of Impact Medical Strategies which is dedicated to promoting technologies that can solve major global medical unmet needs. Its goal is to make widely applicable devices and health care services sustainable, affordable and accessible to all. Two initial areas of focus are point of care diagnostic markers for Ovarian and Prostate cancer. Navroze Mehta is also Founder & CEO of Mela Artisans Inc. (www.melaartisans.com). He co-founded Mela with his daughter Sonali Mehta Rao. Mela Artisans blends traditional handcrafting techniques with contemporary design in home and fashion to promote social uplift in artisan communities.
Navroze received an MBA from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College at the University of Bombay, India. Navroze has been a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) for 20 years, is past chair of the Americas Gateway Chapter, and served as Regional Chair of the Economic Development Network. He is also a past member of the Ashoka Support Network (www.ashoka.org), a leader in the field of social entrepreneurship and has invested in several social impact enterprises.
Steven J Fern, M.D., FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrician/ Gynecologist in Florida that has been in practice for almost eighteen years.
Dr. Fern specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. He also has expertise in the management of excessive menstrual bleeding and in procedures such as laparoscopic hysterectomy, hysteroscopic resection of fibroids, and endometrial ablation. He is a partner of OB/GYN Specialists of the Palm Beaches with an office located in Wellington, Florida.
In 2008 Dr. Fern started a company called Fern Innovations for the sole purpose of developing products that aid health care practitioners and their patients. He is the creator of KleenGel, and serves as an advisor for various other medical device companies.
Dr. Fern is a New Jersey native and has received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Fern chose this specialty because he considered it the best opportunity to offer preventative care for women in all stages of life. “It is a field that offers a doctor the honor of assisting in the joy of birth and the satisfaction of aiding in the prevention of cancer and other common diseases as women age.” In addition to his medical achievements, Dr. Fern has served as a past chief of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wellington Regional Medical Center. He is involved in many organizations including: The American Medical Association, Florida OB/GYN Society, Palm Beach OB/GYN Society, and ACOG-Fellow.
Dr. Fern is married and has three children.
Vice President of Operations
Suzanne Mair, Vice President of Operations at KleenGel LLC, has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry both as a Hospital Administrator with Memorial Sloan–Kettering Cancer Center and as a Consultant and Clinical Project Manager with large medical-surgical manufacturers and distributors including Allegiance Healthcare and Cardinal Healthcare. Suzanne has worked extensively with medical products and devices. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering she served as Chairperson of the Hospital Product Evaluation Committee. As a Consultant and Clinical Project Manager she has worked with physicians and clinical staff to standardize supplies and procedures in the operating room and throughout the hospital. Suzanne received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and a Master of Public Health Degree from Columbia University.
